Forgotten Forest — Mushroom & Woodland Basing Kit
Bring an enchanted, overgrown woodland to your miniatures. Forgotten Forest combines detailed H Vision Miniatures mushrooms, dead wood and bushes with natural fertile ground texture, fine basing sand and leaf litter. Ideal for fantasy forests, gloomy graveyards, nature-reclaimed ruins, tabletop gaming miniatures and scenic dioramas.
What's in every kit?
- H Vision Mixed Mushrooms — Small: 40 resin mushrooms — 5 each of Toadstool, Round Cap, Flat Cap, Pointy Cap, Morel, Boletus, Chanterelle and Cribraria.
- H Vision Woodland Bushes — Small: 12 resin plant pieces — 2 each of Verdant Bush, Maple Bush, Clover Bushes, Bergenia Tuft, Bergenia Elder Plant and Thorny Bush.
- H Vision Dead Woodland — Small: 10 resin pieces — 3 Dead Wood, 3 Dead Bush, 2 Dry Bush and 2 Tree Trunk.
- Gatehouse Gaming Fertile Lands: one full pack of natural scenic ground material.
- Fine basing sand: one resealable 30g portion for paths, clearings and exposed earth.
- Woodland leaf litter: one resealable 5g portion for a fallen-leaf forest floor.
62 resin details plus ground material, sand and leaf litter. The included mushroom varieties and resin design counts are fixed; the sand and leaf litter are measured portions, not full manufacturer's retail packs. Individual resin clusters count as one piece. Images show examples of component sculpts and materials, not a photograph of the entire assembled kit.
Choose your base option
- Materials only: all resin and scenic materials, without plain plastic bases.
- Starter: everything above plus 10 plain 32mm plastic bases.
- Mixed: everything above plus 10 plain 32mm and 5 plain 40mm plastic bases.
- Expanded: everything above plus 20 plain 32mm and 10 plain 40mm plastic bases.
All four options include the same resin details and scenic materials. Pack options change the number of plain bases only, not resin model scale.
How to create your forgotten forest
Glue down Fertile Lands material as the primary ground texture, scatter sand for paths and bare-earth patches, and add H Vision fallen wood, bushes and mushrooms to build depth. Finish with leaf litter around rocks, roots and the bases of the mushrooms. Let glue dry completely before handling.
Printed to order
The H Vision resin details are produced by Basing Works under commercial licence. Allow approximately 2–3 working days for printing, washing and curing before dispatch, subject to ready-made material availability. Delivery time is additional.
Preparation and safety
Resin miniatures and plastic bases are supplied unpainted. Support marks may remain; remove carefully before priming. If sanding cured resin, use wet methods and avoid breathing resin dust. Contains small parts; not a toy. Glue and paint are not included.
